We must have shocked folks back in Dec/Jan 2010 when it seems plywood boards went up at The Icon. For those who took a closer look were surprised to find out it was actually a photograph of plywood printed on fabric and hung in our windows !

this is pretty cool.

but i think the locations where they did this makes it lose some of its power. the artist statement says that this would be done in vacant storefronts, but from the pictures i see they did it at a print shop and an art gallery. doing it at bankrupt businesses would be much more interesting.
