I told one of my students I was keeping her after the school year ended. She said “no thank you”. Heartbreaking, but at least she was polite about it.

These are the goals I wrote on my door a few months after I graduated college.
This past Saturday I had my latest Nomad Art Project show, one year after my first.
First goal, check
Although I haven’t been submitting my art anywhere, I did get invited to host an art show at a nonprofit organization. That counts, right?
Second goal, check
I’ve been hired as a substitute teacher and will begin in the fall. I also started writing for an art Web Site, but that’s not really a job.
Goal three, check
I haven’t moved to LA yet, but I’ll be going to school there starting in august and will probably move there by January.
I’d say I’m doing pretty good :)
